Ani-One To Stream Astra Lost In Space Anime On YouTube

MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Friday that it will stream the TV anime series of Kenta Shinohara's Astra Lost in Space (Kanata no Astra) manga on September 1 at 4:30 p.m. IST.


Ani-One will stream the anime in India, Hong Kong, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Macau, and Taiwan.


The anime first aired in Japan from July 3, 2019, to September 18, 2019, with 12 episodes. The first and last episodes aired as one-hour specials.

Masaomi Andō directed the anime at Lerche, with Norimitsu Kaihō as the series' scriptwriter. Keiko Kurosawa was the main chief animation director and also designed the characters. Masaru Yokoyama and Nobuaki Nobusawa composed the music. Nonoc performed the anime's opening theme song "star*frost," while Riko Azuna performed the ending song "Glow at the Velocity of Light".


Shinohara released the manga in May 2016 on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app. The manga ended in December 2017, and Shueisha published the 5 volumes on the market. Viz Media began publishing the chapters online for free in August 2016 and published the fifth and final volume in print in December 2018.
