The spookiest day of the year is here, and it's time to pay homage to the 'Day of the Dead' in the most wicked and fun way!
SANCTUM EVENTS - an Event Management Company for Cosplay and Arts & Entertainment did exactly in collaboration with the All Rounder Shots, Bar & Restaurant, the Biggest VR Gaming Zone at Phoenix Market City, in Pune on 27th Oct 2018 curated an event celebrating Halloween day.
The event was organised in two part. The first part was reserved only for the 20 Cosplayers - special invitees, who are also game enthusiasts between 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
The Cosplayers exhibited themselves in the scariest Halloween custom, laying heir hands on the latest VR Games installed at AllRounder Shots. It's was a way of engaging with the crowd and inviting them to try out the latest VR Games, offering them free trial games and other treats. The Cosplayers chill at the AllRounder's Bar & Restaurant for some bewitchingly delicious treats (food & drinks) from the restaurant. The Cosplayers also received a special offer to play UNLIMITED VR games for a week at AllRounder Shots from the organiser.
Ayush Gupta who cosplayed as Joker shared his experience, saying, "The company of the people there, was fun and the perks that came with being a cosplayer like free VR gaming and free food obviously exceeded our expectations!"
As the day proceeds, it was time for the second part of the event scheduled from 9.00pm -12.00am. This was the time when the Cosplayers got an opportunity to mingle with regular party goers also dressed as per the theme. The event reached its peak with more fun, music, and dance.
"It was a good event. Farhat had planned it very well, and she was very enthusiastic about everything. I really enjoyed interacting with other cosplayers. Playing VR games was so much fun! I wish more cosplayers were there, I missed them," explained Swati Mestry, while applauding the initiative of Farhat. In all the event was smartly curated by Farhat Chagla of SANCTUM EVENTS and has set the stakes high for the next year.
