Netflix India to Stream 3 New Popular Anime Series From September!


As Anime and Netflix are growing in immense popularity in India in recent times, Netflix had announced to expand its anime and movie library. Three new anime series will be added to the streaming service. A Certain Scientific Accelerator (Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator), Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun) and Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out my Defence (Itai no wa Iya nano de Bogyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu) will start streaming on September 1st, 2020.


The television anime of "A Certain Scientific Accelerator" aired in Japan on July 12 to September 27, 2019. The series was animated by J.C Staff and directed by Nobuharu Kamanaka. It is a spinoff of the manga series A Certain Magical Index light novel written by Kazuma Kamachi. The television anime of "Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun" aired in Japan on October 5 to March 7, 2020. The series was animated by Bandai Namco Pictures and directed by Makoto Moriwaki. The second season of the anime is set to premiere in early 2021. The television anime of "Bofuri: I Don't want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out my Defence" aired in Japan on January 8 to March 25, 2020. The series was animated by Silver Link and directed by Shin Onuma and Mirai Minato.

There are about 160 Anime Series available on Netflix India. The anime is available in English Dub and also in English and other languages subtitles. Some of the anime series that were added recently are, Black Clover, BNA, Great Pretender, Haikyuu!! the Movie: Ending and Beginning, Haikyuu!! Winners and Losers, Japan Sinks and Rock Lee. Netflix has been adding more and more anime recently for the India region and will continue to do so as its popularity rises.
