Pony Canyon Releases Dragon's House-Hunting Anime Teaser!

The official YouTube channel of Pony Canyon a.k.a Ponican released a 1-minute teaser of its upcoming anime series Dragon's House-Hunting (Dragon, Ie o Kau) on 12th August 2020. The anime is based on Kawo Tanuki and Choco Aya's (artist) manga of the same name.


The teaser opens with a cloudy half-moon sky and then goes on to introduce the two main characters the Dragon and the Demon Lord. The video teases about their fateful meeting and suggests that it marks the beginning of an epic adventure. The video ends with a short conversation between the Dragon and the Demon Lord, where the Dragon confesses that he desires to live a peaceful life and Demon Lord offering him help to find such a place for him.

Haruki Kasugamori directed the movie, while SzeYi So/Shiori Asaka designed the characters. Dragon's House-Hunting production committee handled the production and Signal.MD looked after the animation production. Kyohei Matsuno gave the music at Pony Canyon which took care of music production of the anime series.

MAG Garden corporation serialized the Dragon's House-Hunting manga in its monthly magazine 'Comic Garden' and MAG Garden online comic 'MAGCOMI'. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English.


Manga Synopsis:

When a dragon fails to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend. In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, where everyone wants a piece of him—literally!—the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level.
