The Promised Neverland Season 2 Rescheduled For January 2021, A New Key Visual Revealed!

Good news for The Promised Neverland fans! The official website of The Promised Neverland anime announced the rescheduled broadcast date for the 2nd season of the series. The website revealed that the new season will air every Thursday on Fuji Tv Noitama starting in January 2021. The second season was supposed to debut in October 2020 but got postponed due to Corona Virus Pandemic.

The Promised Neverland franchise which is celebrating its 4th anniversary, revealed a 2nd key visual of the season 2 on 11th August 2020 via its official website. Kazuaki Shimada illustrated the visual while Mai Yamaguchi and Tomoyuki Shiokawa gave the final touchings.
The franchise has started a special page on their website to celebrate the anniversary. The website lists all the special events they have planned as a part of Promised Never Festival. The list includes events such as Neva general elections, where fans can vote for their favourite characters, scenes, dialogues etc. The voting has begun today and fans can give their votes until the rebroadcast of season 1 in October. The other events are a celebration of Emma's birthday, a YouTube hero image contest for the Promised Neverland radio show and a live stream of season 1 on popular video streaming platform Nico Nico etc. Check out their official website for more details.
The season one of the anime premiered in January 2019 in Japan and Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funimation and Hidive simulcasted the episodes as it aired. The Promised Neverland manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2016 to June 2020. Kaiu Shirai wrote the manga, while Posuka Demizu did the illustration work. Viz Media publishes the manga digitally, and in print in North America. MANGA Plus also publishes the manga digitally in English.
