War for Wano has finally Begun -Chapter 988 Release Date Revealed!

The longest-running anime One Piece has supposedly entered its final arc, The Wano Arc. One Piece has been running for a little over two decades now but shockingly has never made news for its fights and battles unlike other major anime shows running this long. But finally, the never-ending wait for the warlike never before on the show has ultimately ended. Fans are rewarded generously for their wait over the months and The War for Wano has surfaced now. Fans are already speculating if it's the most important war in the shown by One Piece yet.

Wano War has been building in the background for quite some time now, hence, it didn't come as surprise to the fans. Albeit they are as excited with their over the top enthusiasm to witness the biggest war of the show.

Wano arc finally kicked off sometime back when straw hats set feet into the frame. Luffy, The Guy of the show, when witnessed the horrendous deeds of Orochi and Kaido have done upon their innocent people, was the best bet to fight off the war against the evil shogun. And after a long patient wait, the war is set in motion, coming right from Luffy's words — “I came here to whoop the whole lot of you!!! It's all-out war!” is what he tells big mom whilst telling her about his ultimate goal in chapter 987, which was released on 10th August 2020 on Viz media's official website. As per the official website of Viz Media, the next chapter i.e 988 will be released on 23rd August.

For now, let's find out how war is going to shape One Piece further on. Is there going to be a loss on heroes side as well or will they take on the villainous figures without losing some of our loved characters along with the war?
